Things are certainly are looking very different on-site at Lydiard Park! Second floor timber framing is complete, brick work is well advanced, and installation of metal and timber cladding is also progressing.
Delays related to material procurement (timber, steel, plumbing items, plasterboard etc.) and long lead times with subcontractors associated with COVID isolation and record levels of domestic construction created an enormous backlog of works carried over from 2021.
Although we have reliable subcontractors, we unfortunately haven’t been immune to these issues and they have affected our construction programme. At this stage, we are anticipating settlements in early Q3 2022 – but we will update you well in advance if that timeframe changes. Hygge Property and the project team are working very hard to manage the delays and bring the project back onto programme.
